is the head.....

i love restaurants and eateries that leave the shrimp heads on when they cook them. they're the best part!! there is so much flavor trapped in a shrimp head that people who are squeemish about eating them are missing out!

i got a DEAL on some shrimp at the market. i pretty much never make shrimp b/c its usually too expensive, but this time around, b/c it was fairly cheap, i decided why not?!

i cooked a bunch of shrimp: 1/2 in garlic butter and the other 1/2 in sweet chili sauce. both, were fantastic. the heads you see here are the sweet chili sauce flavor with some black pepper.

trust me, if you've never tried a shrimp head before - you should. they really are so very good.
